New Workshops
Easter Holiday Workshops
I will be offering Art, Printmaking and Clay workshops for 7-11 years & 11+. All classes are a maximum of 5.
For those coming to a clay workshop, we will be hand building and your pieces will be fired. You will have a choice to return to colour and glaze your work or take it home bisque fired to paint yourself.
For Art workshops you will take your work home at the end of the session.
Most sessions run from 10.00am - 12.30pm. Cost £25 pp. Tetra Pak printing for 11+yrs 10.00am - 1.00pm Cost £30
Week 1
Monday 30 March: Faberge style Eggs - learn about Faberge and paint and decorate papier mache eggs in your own fancy style.
Tuesday 31 March: Decorate papier mache eggs and make mini egg cups from air dry clay to stand them in.
Wednesday 1 April: Fun with Fimo clay - create jewellery, badges and fridge magnets with Fimo clay which we will bake in the oven.
Thursday 2 April: Air dry creatures - you choose - it can be real or mythical!
Friday 3 April: Family session, minimum 3 people £17pp Choose clay or printing
Week 2
Monday 6 April: Family session minimum 3 people £17 pp Choose clay or printing
Tuesday 7 April: Clay relief tiles - animals, fish, dragon eyes or just patterns (work will be fired and glazed) All ages
Wednesday 8 April: Pinch pot animals (work will be fired and glazed) All ages
Thursday 9 April: Bug planter pots (work will be fired and glazed) All ages
Friday 10 April: Tetra pak printing 11+ yrs - make your very own print plate with tetra pak and create a wonderful set of prints to take home.
Week 3
Monday 13 April: clay choice - you can choose from a variety of small projects (work will be fired and glazed)
Tuesday 14 April: Tetra Pak printing 11yrs +
Wednesday 15 April: poly block printing - all ages welcome
Thursday 16 April: clay choice - you can choose from a variety of small projects (work will be fired and glazed)
Friday 17 April: clay choice - you can choose from a variety of small projects (work will be fired and glazed)
6 & 4 week block workshops
This is an opportunity through guided projects to learn new skills and develop techniques including coiling, slab building, textured tiles and small sculptures.
Children 6-11 yrs
Total Cost: £96 for 6 weeks
Duration: 1.5 hours

Young Adults 12+yrs
Total Cost: £80 for 4 weeks

New
Adult Beginners - clay hand-building
This is an opportunity to learn new techniques or develop existing skills including coiling, slab building, textured tiles and small sculptures. There are a variety of techniques to choose from.
Total Cost: £50 which includes a making session followed 2 weeks later by a decorative and glazing session or if you are keen you can choose to sign up for several sessions @ £25 each to make more sustained pieces of work.

I will also be offering 1:1 sessions for all ages or small group sessions for family or groups of friends on request. These can be tailored to a theme of your choice with techniques to suit your ability and can be discussed on enquiry.
Sessions last between 1.5 - 2 hours -dates and times arranged individually
Cost for 1:1= £25 for making and bisque firing
£25 to glaze and second firing
Cost for group/family session (minimum 3 people) £17 pp includes all glazing & firing
Creative Birthday Parties for kids (maximum 5)
Cost = £150 - includes all materials and firing if relevant - children get to take home amazing creations!
Option 1: make in clay: 2.5 hours with 20 min break for clay to dry out a bit before raw glazing - these can be themed to your choice
Option 2: Plaster casting: 2.5 hours with 20 mins break for plaster to set - bring your favourite objects or choose a theme and children press objects into clay to create a diorama which they will then cast in plaster of paris.
Option 3: Art activity: 2.5 hours - card sculpture, printmaking, Fimo jewellery.
