New Workshops
May Half Term Workshops
I will be offering Clay workshops for all age groups. All classes are a maximum of 5.
Sessions run over 4 days, Tuesday 26 - Friday 29 May, from 10.00am - 12.30pm. Cost £25 pp.
I am also offering family or One to One sessions in the afternoons On Monday 25 or Tuesday 26 May 2.00pm-4.30pm - see below for prices.
For those coming to a clay workshop, we will be hand building and your pieces will be fired. You will have a choice to return to colour and glaze your work once it has been bisque fired or paint with underglazes and colour slip on the day for a one-off firing.
Adult clay hand-building
These are 2 part sessions - come and make one week and return to glaze 2 weeks later.
Cost £60 for both sessions, includes materials, glazing and firing.
Option 1
Hand-building using Stencil and sgrafitto techniques and colour slip decoration: make a set of tiles/coasters or a dish using paper stencils to create your design. use colour slips and add detail by scratching back through the colour.
Tuesday 2 June & Tuesday 16 June
10am-1pm or 6pm-9pm.
Option 2
Handbuilding wall planters. using slab, pinch and coiling techniques to build a wall planter - add patterns and textures to embelish your design. once bisque fired, add colour with underglazes and oxides

After School Clay Club
Age 8-14 yrs
Thursdays 3.30pm-5.30pm: June 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, July 1st & 8th
This is a 6 week course where you can learn a variety of different techniqes and develop these over a few weeks,giving you the opportunity to create a more sustained piece of work.
Cost £120 Includes Materials, glazing and firing.
Summer Holiday Workshops
These will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays throughout the summer holidays.
open to all ages 6-16 years

I will be offering clay and printmaking workshops
Tuesdays and Wenesdays: Exploring clay - you can choose from a variety of small projects. If you come to more than one session you can develop your skills to make a larger piece of work.
Thursdays: Exploring printmaking - we will try a variety of techniques including monoprinting, polyblock printing (age 6-10) and tetra-pak printing(age 11+).
Cost £25 per session
4 Session bundle £80
I will also be offering 1:1 sessions for all ages or small group sessions for family or groups of friends on request. These can be tailored to a theme of your choice with techniques to suit your ability and can be discussed on enquiry.
Sessions last between 1.5 - 2.5 hours -dates and times arranged individually
Cost for 1:1= £25 for making and bisque firing
£25 to glaze and second firing
Cost for group/family session (minimum 3 people) £20 pp includes all glazing & firing
Creative Birthday Parties for kids (maximum 5)
Cost = £150 - includes all materials and firing if relevant - children get to take home amazing creations!
Option 1: make in clay: 2.5 hours with 20 min break for clay to dry out a bit before raw glazing - these can be themed to your choice
Option 2: Plaster casting: 2.5 hours with 20 mins break for plaster to set - bring your favourite objects or choose a theme and children press objects into clay to create a diorama which they will then cast in plaster of paris.
Option 3: Art activity: 2.5 hours - card sculpture, printmaking, Fimo jewellery.
